Moondance Cellars
David Cohen, Vintner/Winemaker began making wine in his garage in Sonoma in 1992. Although he has yet to surpass other garage entrepreneurs such as Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard, he has been consistently making small lots of highly acclaimed premium wines born of grapes from both the Napa and the Sonoma Valleys. Moondance Cellars was an original member of the first Mayo Family Winery Tasting Room. However, most people remember Moondance Cellars as a founding member of The Wine Room in Kenwood, where it held prime bar space for 11 years. In March of 2010 Priscilla Cohen and David renovated a charming space in the historic Jack London Village, where visitors can not only enjoy fine wines, ports and after dinner wines, but also chocolate, and cheesecake while stepping back into Glen Ellen's, Sonoma's and California's rich history.
